Pseudogynecomastia is a health condition that rises as a result of fatty tissue collecting on the male breast, resulting in feminization or chubbiness of the breast. It can be either medically or naturally induced. It is much similar to gynecomastia, although the breast enlarges as a result of the overgrowth of fat tissue rather than the breast tissue which is the case with gynecomastia. The difference is so slight that it requires a specialized doctor’s diagnosis to bring it out clearly. The approaches of differentiating these two conditions differ from one physician to the other.
The diagnosis procedures for these two conditions are the same and physical palpation of the breast is involved. The patient lies on his back and the examiner then uses the forefinger and thumb to gently palpate the breast. In case of gynecomastia, a rubbery mound of tissue which is concentric at the middle would be felt. Whenever such observations lack, ie., the rubbery tissue is more laterally placed rather than concentric, the examiner concludes the condition to be pseudogynecomastia.
There are many ways on how to get rid of gynecomastia and pseudogynecomastia. First, the patient will be required to bring down his overall body fat percentage. This can be done by carrying out basic exercises such as jogging, swimming and bodyweight workouts (pushups, squats, lunges, etc) combined with proper diet management practices. These two go hand in hand and having consistency with both will result in maximum fat loss.
In case exercises and diet management fails to work, the other way of reducing pseudogynecomastia is through breast surgery and/or liposuction of the adipose deposition around the chest. However, the surgery should be done only when exercise and nutrition have failed and you will still need to be at an optimal weight to be accepted for the surgery. Additionally, there are also pills for treatment of this condition. Korexin is one that has said to be the best pill-wise in curbing this condition as some of the contents contain things to curb cravings for carbohydrates and sugars. This type of pill states that it may enhance fat loss by raising metabolism with natural ingredients. I would think most pills with thermogenic properties would work at burning fat. Problem is, these require you to also exercise and eat correctly. Best to just start with proper nutrition and consistent exercise and see where that takes you.
In all cases, take the natural path first. Persevere through your doubts and work hard for yourself and your body. Proper nutrition and exercise can and will do wonders. If all else fails, there are still other options as explained above to help you correct this issue.
